Lizzo enjoys vegan junk food from Belfast restaurant after failed mission to find 'spice bag'

Lizzo has taken to social media to reveal she has been left disappointed after being unable to try a Belfast food spot she found on TikTok.

The Grammy Award-winning singer was in Belfast this week as she performed her headline show at Belsonic on Thursday night.

Fans would have never been able to guess while she was putting on a stellar performance that she had been left heartbroken after being unable to try a 'spice bag' from a local takeaway.

Posting a TikTok on Friday morning, Lizzo revealed she was 'mad at Belfast'.

She said: "All I wanted was a spice bag - I went to this place in Belfast where I saw it on TikTok that they had the best spice bags yesterday and they were closed.

"They were like 'They open tomorrow' and I was like cool.

"We pull up and nobody's there and we are like 'hello' and they are like the owner stepped out and is going to be until 4pm and I've got to get ready for my show at 5pm."

Despite her disappointment, she was able to secure some good vegan junk food on her trip - eating deep-fried mushrooms during the minute-long clip which she remarked was good.

Hey Chick! took to social media to reveal that the replacement snack she was tucking in to had come from their restaurant and the spice bag Lizzo had been dreaming of had been from Lasaa, a Filipino Fusion stall at Common Market.

Hey Chick! said: "Lizzo be eating vegan chick sticks!

"Find yourself someone who looks at you like Lizzo looks at our bangin' vegan junk food.

"Sorry you missed out on Lasa Belfast's epic spice bag. We got you covered!"

Lizzo finished her video by adding: ""Now I'm leaving Belfast after my show and I ain't got my spice bag from this restaurant I've been stalking for the last two days"
