Lizzo announces Glasgow 2023 tour date - how to get tickets

Singer and songwriter Lizzo has announced that she will be coming back to the UK - including Scotland - with the iconic performer announcing one tour date in Glasgow.

The three time GRAMMY® Award-winning, RIAA multi-platinum certified artist announced the good news just days ago.

Taking to social media to share the news the artist said it was something everyone had been "waiting for" with Glasgow set to welcome her next year.

Writing on Instagram she said: "It's about damn time the special tour came to the UK and Europe. Y'all been waiting for this one - UK and EU get your tix at 10/7 at 12pm local time."

So what do you need to know about her tour and how do you get tickets? Here's what you need to know.

When is Lizzo coming to Glasgow?

Lizzo is coming to Glasgow on March 2023 for one date only. At present, despite there seeming like there could be a high demand, there are no other dates scheduled.

How to get tickets to see Lizzo in Glasgow and when they go on sale

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday (October 7) at 12pm via Ticketmaster.

However Live Nation will be hosting a presale event from Thursday (October 6) at 12pm for those wishing to get their hands on tickets slightly earlier in the hopes of also getting better seats..

Who is Lizzo's UK support act on tour?

Lizzo's support act for her UK tour dates is singer and songwriter Joy Crookes who is a three-times BRIT nominated rising star. To date she has nearly 40 million views on YouTube as well as just under 800k followers on TikTok.

Lizzo's Glasgow set list

Whilst no set list has been revealed with the tour still five months away, the latest song running order has been uploaded to setlist.fm with the artist having just performed at Madison Square Garden - sometimes just called MSG - in New York on October 3.
