Liz Truss 'deeply concerned' for the Queen's health as she remains under 'medical supervision'

The Prime Minsiter has expressed her concern about the health of the Queen after Buckingham Palace announced a deterioration in the monarch’s health.

Truss issued a statement after Buckingham Palace announced: “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

Prime Minister Truss left the chamber as a note was passed along the benches to MPs informing them of the Queen’s condition.
