Livingston boss David Martindale says key duo Shamal George and Joel Nouble could be missing for Wednesday's clash with St Mirren as they try to recover from niggling injuries.
George picked up a thigh strain at Ibrox in October and was nursed through the remaining games before the World Cup split but hasn't been named in the squad since while attacking talisman Nouble is suffering from knee inflammation.
The gaffer refused to rule either player out of their midweek clash but admitted it might be too early for them, saying: "Joel hurt himself against Fortuna and after the game there was nothing really there - just a wee bit of inflammation behind the knee.
"He was on the bench against Celtic but I didn't really want to use him, I just wanted to see how he got on in the warm-up and after half-time he told me he couldn't play. We managed to get rid of the inflammation but whether Wednesday night is too early, I don't know. He shouldn't be a million miles away.
"It'll be good to bring Shamal back in, too, but again whether Wednesday night is too early at this point, I don't know."
