A furious woman has walked out on her husband after discovering he has been taking food from food banks to stock their kitchen cupboards, despite having a household income of over £160,000.
The woman explained that her spouse has always been "frugal" and likes to save money wherever possible, and although they always have "plenty of food" at home that they buy from supermarkets, he still insists on going to food banks in order to cut costs further.
What's more, because the couple is "never short on food", the items her husband picks up from the food bank usually get "thrown away" because they don't get the chance to eat them before they go off - meaning they're not making use of the items that are being taken away from families who are struggling to get by.
