Jurgen Klopp is dealing with a number of injuries ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League season opener against Fulham today.
Diogo Jota, Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kostas Tsimikas are all out of the trip to Craven Cottage, although Alisson Becker starts after injury.
Naby Keita is also nearing a return but does not make the opener, while new star striker Darwin Nunez is on the bench, with Roberto Firmino getting the nod alongside Mo Salah and Luis Diaz in attack.
Alisson missed the Community Shield win over Manchester City, with third-choice Adrian having to start in the added absence of Caoimhin Kelleher.

Nunez, meanwhile, got the better of Erling Haaland in his first game on English soil and there will be an awful lot of eyes to see how the Uruguayan fares in what looks like a favourable first game in the competition, provided he gets off the bench of course.
“Darwin is ready,” said Klopp.
“He needs time to get used to a lot of things but he’s already a real help. It was a proper pre-season training for him.”
