Liverpool suffered their ninth loss in 12 games as PSV ran out 4-1 winners at Anfield in the Champions League on Wednesday. Peter Bosz’s side landed an early blow on their struggling hosts when Virgil van Dijk - believing he’d been fouled during a corner delivery - handled the ball in the area and Ivan Perisic dispatched the resulting penalty past Giorgi Mamardashvili, but the Reds equalised 10 minutes later as the in-form Dominik Szoboszlai calmly slotted home a rebound from Cody Gakpo’s saved shot.
