Liverpool may not be actively looking to bring in any more signings during the summer transfer window but they are still heavily involved in what goes on in the market as they look to move on a number of players ahead of next season.
With Sadio Mane, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi already gone, coupled with a number of loan departures, the Reds could still be on course to say farewell to more members of their first team squad, including Naby Keita and Joe Gomez. Elsewhere, the Reds have reportedly 'warned' Ousmane Dembele’s agent about faking rumours of Liverpool ’s interest in the player.

Keita ‘doesn’t want’ new contract
There has been plenty of discussion around the future of Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita of late following reports in Italy stating that the Reds were considering a ‘swap-deal’ involving the Guinea international for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
However, it was later understood that Jurgen Klopp’s side were set on offering Keita a new contract once pre-season had got underway, as he enters the final 12 months of his existing deal on Merseyside after joining the club from Red Bull Salzburg in 2018.
But according to Libero, via the Liverpool ECHO, Keita does not want to sign a new contract, which would mean he could either be sold this summer, potentially as part of a swap-deal, or he will leave for free upon the expiration of his contract next summer.

Reds quash Dembele rumours
With Ousmane Demebele’s Barcelona contract running out, there has been much speculation over his future beyond this summer, with Liverpool amongst a host of clubs who have been linked with a move for the Frenchman ahead of next season.
And with Dembele failing to live up to the heights of his €105 million, plus a reported €40 million in add-ons, transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2017, many have predicted the 25-year-old to depart the Camp Nou following the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
But according to reports, Liverpool have issued a warning to Dembele's agent about spreading false rumours about the club and their supposed interest in the player, and that the Reds are ready to offer Dembele a contract ahead of his Barcelona deal coming to an end.
Aston Villa ‘preparing’ £30m Gomez bid
Despite being keen on extending Joe Gomez’s contract this summer, Liverpool could part ways with the 24-year-old defender in this year’s transfer window as the England international goes in search of more regular first team football next season, following just eight Premier League appearances last season.
Steven Gerrard has been keen to bring the centre-back to Aston Villa ever since the January transfer window and now, according to the Daily Star, the Midlands club are lining up a £30 million bid to bring him to Villa Park ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Gomez has made 142 appearances for the Reds since joining from Charlton Athletic in 2015, but Gerrard is aiming to prize him away from Anfield this month as he looks to bolster his options in defence ahead of the new season.
