Oakley Cannonier moved on to 40 goals in an astonishing season as Liverpool under-18s bounced back from last week's defeat against Manchester City.
Cannonier scored twice as the young Reds romped to a 5-1 U18 Premier League North triumph against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Aggborough Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Liverpool went ahead on 10 minutes when, after Clark was brought down by Aaron Keto-Diyawa, Chambers converted from the spot inside the right-hand post.
Cannonier then netted twice inside three minutes before the interval. The first, on 34 minutes, saw the striker finish first time into the top corner from Blair's low cross from the left. Then, from the a deeper position on the opposite flank, Luca Stephenson swung a ball into the area and Cannonier got in front of his marker to guide a header into the far corner.
Wolves pulled a goal back on 43 minutes when Tyler Roberts clipped an angled finish beyond Liverpool goalkeeper Harvey Davies. But the visitors' three-goal advantage was restored 10 minutes into the second half when Cannonier ran on to a pass from Blair, went around Wolves goalkeeper James Storer and crossed for Clark to head in at the far post.
A resounding victory was secured in remarkable fashion on 64 minutes when the lively Blair broke from the halfway line, held off two defenders, progressed into the penalty area and turned before finishing into the far corner while falling.
Liverpool are next in U18 Premier League North action on Saturday when they travel to Sunderland (kick-off 11am).
