Liverpool are not actively pursuing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Evan Ndicka.
The future of 23-year-old Ndicka has been the subject of increased speculation this week after it emerged he is set to become a free agent in the summer having repeatedly turned down contract offers from the Bundesliga side.
A number of clubs - including several from the Premier League - have been linked with potential interest in the former France under-21 international, who has spent the last five years at Frankfurt.

Liverpool, who could be in the market for a centre-back in the forthcoming transfer window, are aware of Ndicka's situation and are keeping a watching brief on developments.
There is the obvious appeal of the player not commanding a transfer fee, given the Reds are already prepared to invest heavily in remoulding their midfield, with Jude Bellingham, Mason Mount and Matheus Nunes among potential options.
However, the ECHO understands there is at present no suggestion any interest in Ndicka will be made concrete as the player runs down the final months of his contract.
Liverpool are assessing their centre-back options with there likely to be at least one senior departure in the summer. Joel Matip, who will be 32 in August, is approaching the final 12 months of his deal while Nat Phillips is expected to be available for transfer having been limited to just five senior appearances so far this term.
