Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Fabio Carvalho on a long-term contract from Fulham.
Carvalho will officially become a Reds player when the transfer window opens on July 1 having already signed a pre-agreement to move to Anfield.
Liverpool have negotiated a £5million fee with Fulham, who were due compensation despite the 19-year-old attacking midfielder being out of contract at the end of the season. The agreement also includes add-ons that could bump the final cost up by a further £2.7m along with a 20% sell-on clause.

Even though Carvalho is still at a young age, the expectation is that he will be part of the first-team squad for next season. He will link up with his new team-mates in pre-season training this summer and hope to stake a claim to impress those at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby.
Carvalho’s final season at Fulham saw him play a key role in helping the club secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. He scored 11 goals and provided eight assists which helped Fulham win the Championship.
With the signing of Carvalho, there will be a decision to make over what shirt number he could take at Liverpool. There are a host of options available to the Red’ newest recruit.
The number 2 shirt remains vacant since Nathaniel Clyne's departure.
The number 16 shirt became available last summer when Marko Gruijc joined Porto on a permanent transfer.
Despite Ozan Kabak wearing the number 19 shirt for a brief period during his loan spell last term, it is once again vacant after Sadio Mane switched to number 10 in 2017.
Number 24 is still vacant after Rhian Brewster joined Sheffield United.
With Divock Origi set to leave Liverpool this summer, the number 27 is likely to be available for Carvalho.
Also available is the number 25 shirt, with Cameron Brannagan technically the last player to hold it, whilst Pepe Reina wore it from 2005-2013.
Numbers 29 , 30 and 31 are all vacant as Dominic Solanke last wore 29, with 30 and 31 last worn by Raheem Sterling and Suso respectively.
And a selection of higher numbers are free for Carvalho or anyone else who walks through the door this summer.
