Liverpool sent Jamal Musiala transfer message with 'bite their arm off' Premier League claim

Former Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson would 'like to see' Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala pulling on a shirt for the Reds.

Musiala exited his first World Cup with Germany at the group stages, but the youngster can hold his head up high for the performances he put in for his side.

Ex-England international Johnson believes the former England youth international would fit in perfectly in the Premier League due to his style of play.

Musiala played for England at youth level, but opted to play for the German side at senior level, but Johnson believes the 19-year-old would start in Gareth Southgate's team.

"I'd like to see Jamal Musiala in a Liverpool or back in a Chelsea shirt, especially with the way he's playing at the moment," Johnson told FairBettingSites. "Most top teams would bite their arm off for him.

"Musiala was getting involved in most of Germany's attacks before they were knocked out. He looks like he would really suit the Premier League.

"I wish he was still English, but he's probably the last person we need because of the talent we have in his position already.

"Musiala would get into the England team, he would certainly go toe-to-toe with all the other midfielders in the team. I’d definitely say he’s good enough to start for England."
