Liverpool’s upcoming fixture list has been left uncertain following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday.
The Premier League announced on Friday that all of this weekend’s fixtures will be postponed as a mark of respect for the Monarch. Liverpool were due to face Wolves at Anfield, but that match will now have to be rescheduled.
Jurgen Klopp’s side still have matches in both the Champions League and Premier League before the international break later this month. But there is still doubt over what the fixture list could look like in the near future.

Here, the ECHO takes a look at how Liverpool’s fixture list could look in the coming weeks.
Liverpool vs Wolves (H), September 10 - cancelled
The Premier League released a statement on Friday confirming that all of this weekend’s fixtures are to be postponed. A new date is expected to be announced in due course, although the fixture list is already pretty busy for the Reds for the vast majority of the season.
Liverpool vs Ajax (H), September 13 - expected to be played
Gameweek two of the Champions League group stages and other UEFA competitions are expected to go ahead.
Even though the Premier League and EFL have postponed their matches for this weekend, the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League games fall under UEFA jurisdiction, meaning different measures have been put in place. As things stand, this fixture is expected to go ahead.
Liverpool have confirmed they are 'awaiting further guidance from UEFA' over the fixture against Ajax. But the club is planning and preparing for it at present.
Chelsea vs Liverpool (A), September 18 - expected to be postponed due to funeral
This match is also likely to be postponed, as well. The Queen's funeral is expected to take place on September 18 or September 19.
Should this be the case, thousands of people are expected to travel to London to pay their respects. This would mean a busier weekend for the security and police in the capital, which is likely to result in football matches scheduled to be played in the city to be postponed.
Liverpool vs Brighton (H) October 1 - expected to be played
This fixture comes after the September international break, and is likely to be played. It will come nearly a month on from Liverpool’s goalless draw with Everton, which could possibly be their final Premier League match before welcoming Brighton to Anfield.
