Liverpool's LGBTQ+ community swapping clothes to feel more 'gender affirming'

Liverpool’s LGBTQ+ community will be swapping clothes with one another in a bid to find more gender affirming clothes for themselves.

The event, which is being hosted by Comics Youth, an organisation that supports marginalised youngsters across Merseyside and in collaboration with Jadan Vanezis, a LGBT+ activist, will aid those who suffer with gender dysphoria or those who struggle with their self-identity and want to explore but may face financial difficulties to do so.

Comics Youth helps those are LGBTQIA+, disabled, BAME, living in poverty, or living with poor mental health through creative outlets. They aim to enable people who are often unheard and overpowered to reclaim their voice and narratives by publishing their stories, co-creating activism campaigns, making safe spaces and changing the landscape of Liverpool and beyond to be more inclusive of the marginalised youth.
