Liverpool restaurant Yard and Coop announces closure with 'great sadness' after six years

Aldi Hanover Street Asda Marks and Spencer

Popular city centre restaurant Yard and Coop has announced its permanent closure this week.

The crowd-pleasing restaurant, known and loved for its signature buttermilk chicken, took to social media to confirm it would be shutting up shop after six years in business. The restaurant, based on Hanover Street, originally opened in December 2016.

The venue was a big hit thanks to its stylish and central location, boasting two floors to offer diners a spacious, secluded setting against the backdrop of the booming city centre.
