With that being said, here is a round-up of all the latest transfer gossip involving Liverpool from around the globe.
Who?
Gavi
Where?
What?
Liverpool are 'ready to pay' Gavi's £42 million release clause, according to reports from Spain. Outlet El Nacional claims the Reds are willing to move for the player as his release clause reportedly remains active until the end of June.
Barcelona are said to be hopeful the 17-year-old will put pen to paper on a fresh deal with the club, and that's also reportedly the intention of Gavi himself, but the longer negotiations drag out, the more speculation continues to swirl.
While Liverpool may be in the hunt for a midfielder this summer having not replaced Georginio Wijnaldum in the previous two transfer windows, it's yet to be seen who they target in the coming months. Gavi's current contract with the Catalan giants expires in the summer of 2023.
Who?
Darwin Nunez
Where?
What?
Darwin Nunez may well be the biggest name to move clubs this summer as speculation continues to grow over his future. Clubs across Europe, including Liverpool, have been linked with the Uruguay international in recent weeks.
However, a recent report from The Athletic's David Ornstein suggests it is Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain that lead the race for his signature.
Liverpool will have gotten a closer look at the player following their Champions League semi-final meetings and he was on the scoresheet in the first leg in Lisbon last week. With 31 goals in all competitions so far this season, it's no surprise clubs across the continent are taking note.
With a contract that runs until 2025, Benfica will likely demand a significant fee to part ways with their league's top goalscorer.

Who?
Gleison Bremer
Where?
What?
Liverpool have learned the price it will take to sign rumoured target Gleison Bremer, according to reports in Italy.
The Merseyside club are among a number of potential suitors for the Torino defender, who's future has come under speculation in recent months.
According to outlet Calciomercato, Bremer's stock has risen in the last few months following his recent contract extension, which was signed back in February to extend his stay with the Serie A club until 2024. It has been claimed that he would've been worth close to €20m at the beginning of the season, Torino may now look for up to €40m.
For Liverpool, the reported interest seems a little far-fetched given the centre of defence is an area on the pitch in which they are well stocked. Following the signing of Ibrahima Konate last summer, the Reds are in no desperate need of reinforcements, especially at the price being mentioned currently.
