The value of a football club is a hard thing to establish. Like any asset, it’s ultimately worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
There are so many factors to consider. With Fenway Sports Group potentially looking to sell Liverpool, or at the least keen to attract new investment, they will be keenly aware of what a realistic price for the club is at this point.
Supporters are rarely too concerned about that. Bragging between rival fans never focuses on how much their club is worth. The value of their players may enter the debate though.
