Liverpool have shown interest in Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, according to a report.
It is no secret that Jurgen Klopp is looking to evolve his midfield at Anfield this summer, with players such as Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner expected to leave the club at the end of the season. Jude Bellingham has long been considered the Reds' number one target, but one player alone will not fix their current engine room issues.
On Friday, the Liverpool manager appeared to rule out making any further additions to his squad during the January transfer window, but according to journalist Rudy Galetti, Poland international Zielinski is on a shortlist of targets.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Galetti said: “There are other names on their list including (Sofyan) Amrabat, (Mikel) Merino, and Zielinski. But especially these last two names are possible targets for the summer. In this case, the situation will be clearer in the next few days, so let’s wait.”
Zielinski had been linked with Liverpool before signing for Napoli from Udinese in 2016 for €16m. Napoli have enjoyed a brilliant season so far, cruising into the last 16 of the Champions League and currently sitting at the top of Serie A, having only lost one match all season.
Zielinski has been a key component of their recent success, weighing in with seven goals and seven assists so far this campaign. The 28-year-old is under contract with Gli Azzurri until 2024, but a move to the Reds could still be on the table in the summer should his current employees seek to make a profit on their investment rather than lose him on a free transfer 12 months later.
