A Liverpool pub is slashing the price of its food this month to help people while the cost of living crisis rages on.
The rising cost of energy bills, consumer goods and more has led to many people struggling and feeling the pinch this winter. Eating out at a restaurant, for lots of people, no longer feels like a hard earned treat and instead, a luxury or impossibility.
The Elephant Pub & Bakehouse, based on Woolton Road, is hoping to ease stress and encourage custom by offering 25% off food throughout November.

The popular pub is beloved for its community feel, extensive food menu and wide selection of drinks. Now, it's cutting prices Monday to Friday all day, and until 5pm on Saturdays.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the pub and bakehouse penned: "We know the rising cost of living has taken its toll on everyone's social life, so for the whole of November we're offering 25% off all food! Book online now using the link in bio to receive this offer!"
The 25% discount is not valid with any other offer, and is available for tables with a maximum of up to six guests. Tables must also be booked online in advance, and the offer will run until November 30.
