Liverpool player ratings as Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson torment Norwich

Alisson Becker 7

Dealt with Norwich corners first half and no chance for the opening goal. Fine ball sent Salah away for the second goal.

Joe Gomez 6

Solid enough defensively in first Premier League start since November 2020 but understandably not as dangerous as Alexander-Arnold going forward.

Joel Matip 6

Occasional saunter forward but was kept back by Norwich threat on the counter. Unlucky to see Rashica shot hit him for the opener and wobbly moments after that.

Virgil van Dijk 7

Defended solidly but wasn’t happy with some of the iffy passes he was given in dangerous areas.

Kostas Tsimikas 6

Sent decent early chance too high and deliveries from set-pieces inconsistent first half. Overlapped well enough and headed down to set up equaliser.

Jordan Henderson 8

Drew cheers with one piece of good pressing and tidied up well first half. Took control of game after break and helped set up equaliser before fine pass for third goal.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 5

Occasional flashes but didn’t use ball well enough before break, and one shot deflected over. No improvement after that and subbed.

Naby Keita 6

Kept looking for the defence-splitting pass first half that didn’t come and had one shot blocked. Subbed.

Mohamed Salah 8

Header cleared off line first half and tormented Norwich left-back Williams at times. Took his goal immaculately and was later close to another. That's 150 goals for Liverpool now.

Sadio Mane 7

Playing down the middle, struck one deflected shot at Gunn first half and produced fine overhead kick for important equaliser and wide with another effort late on.

Luis Diaz 7

Not always on same wavelength as Tsimikas first half and kept running into defenders. Much better after break and one shot deflected behind before calmly notching the third. Subbed.

Thiago Alcantara (for Oxlade-Chamberlain 62) 7

Brought calm to the midfield and passing helped move Norwich about. Pretty good.

Divock Origi (for Keita 62) 6

Mere presence gave Norwich a different problem, and close with one shot from range.

Takumi Minamino (for Diaz 90)

Well hello there.
