Caoimhin Kelleher 9
Superb save early on to deny Pulisic and stopped Lukaku at near post at end of normal time. Confident with his handling and distribution.
Trent Alexander-Arnold 6
Mixed bag. Struggled defensively and earned wrath of Klopp second half but so dangerous with his distribution going forward. Booked.
Joel Matip 6
Went on a couple of forward forays first half and solid defensively. Stood firm after that and so unlucky to see goal chalked off for not very much. Subbed.
Virgil van Dijk 7
Helped calm Liverpool after a fraught opening and long passing switched play. Denied goal by Mendy save and penalised somewhat harshly for disallowed goal.

Andy Robertson 6
All over the place at the start but eventually settled and provided a threat overlapping with Diaz and much more like it second half.
Fabinho 8
Like so many of his team-mates, improved demonstrably after the first 15 minutes but tough going in a hectic midfield. More resolute the longer the game progressed, positioning on point.
Jordan Henderson 6
Some necessary interceptions in the opening exchanges and looked to get forward whenever required. Decent enough second half. Subbed.
Naby Keita 6
Understandably off the pace having been thrown in at the last minute, but gained confidence and one shot saved by Mendy. Subbed.
Mohamed Salah 6
Big battle up against Rudiger but found sufficient space first half to prove a consistent threat. Close to a goal after break from one counter.
Sadio Mane 7
Physicality tough for Chelsea to deal with and speed found spaces, but denied by remarkable Mendy save. Constant pest in the second half. Subbed.
Luis Diaz 8
Excellent showing in which he tormented a nervy Chalobah and was regular out ball for Liverpool. One of many to draw a save from the busy Mendy. Good defensive stint, too, before tiring. Subbed.

Became the youngest Liverpool player to feature at Wembley. Did pretty well, too.

Became the oldest Liverpool player to feature at Wembley, and got stuck in.
Diogo Jota (for Mane 80) 6
Deemed fit enough to appear but not quite the impact he would have wanted.
Ibrahima Konate (for Matip 90) 6
Instantly in a very tough battle with Lukaku.
Divock Origi (for Diaz 97) 6
A couple of nice touches and kept ball well on occasion.
