Liverpool have moved a step closer to the Premier League’s top four after the win over Wolves.
The Reds claimed a 2-0 victory over Wolves at Anfield on Wednesday night. Second half goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah secured the three points for Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are now up to sixth place in the Premier League table with the win.
This means that Liverpool are six points adrift of the top four and six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with a game in hand.
