Micky van de Ven agent speaks out on Liverpool links as price tag revealed
Micky van de Ven's agent has revealed there are a number of clubs interested in snapping-up his client during the summer window as speculation linking the defender with a move to Liverpool continues to grow.
As reported, the Reds are targeting a left-sided centre-back this summer. An addition at the back would give them competition and cover for Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in that position.
One player who has been linked with a switch to Anfield is van de Ven after he enjoyed a successful season at VfL Wolfsburg in Germany. The 22-year-old made 36 appearances for the German giants last season - the club that new Reds sporting director Jorg Schmadtke departed not too long ago.
