Liverpool's quest for squad additions continues following the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister.
There are frequent reports surrounding midfielders - in particular Khephren Thuram, Manu Kone and Ryan Gravenberch. Jurgen Klopp knows that an overhaul is needed to his engine room following a disappointing season and with contracts expiring in 12 months' time for some of his current options.
It has gone relatively quiet surrounding the Reds over the weekend with links to numerous additions. There is interest in Thuram while eyes remain fixed on Celta Vigo and Spain U21 midfielder Gabri Veiga as clubs circulate the youngster.
Klopp and his squad are set to reunite in a couple of weeks at the beginning of July as they play their final international fixtures before attention turns to the 2023/24 Premier League campaign. Eyes will be fixed on the European Champions in Romania and Georgia as U21 nations look to be crowned champions.

Here are the latest transfers rumours involving Liverpool...
Ryan Gravenberch
Liverpool are pushing to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, according to the Mirror, who suggest the 'green light' has been given in the pursuit. The Dutchman is said to be open to a move away from Bavaria after just 12 months with the club following his £21m move from Ajax.
Last season, he found himself on the periphery of the squad under Julian Nagelsmann before Thomas Tuchel succeeded the former Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig head coach. Despite ending the season with the German First Division winners medal, it was a frustrating campaign starting just five times in 32 appearances across all competitions.
Gravenberch is set to clarify where his future lies after the U21 European Championships in Georgia and Romania which will conclude next month. Konrad Laimer swapped Leipzig for the reigning Bundesliga champions on a four-year deal which leaves an uncertain outlook for the Holland international.
He admitted looking at rumours over his future, specifically links with Anfield, recently. A reunion with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United has been mooted but the report from the Mirror claims interest from the Reds is believed to be more advanced with officials on Merseyside set to back Jurgen Klopp's wishes.
Patrick Dorgu
Reports in Italy have credited Liverpool with interest in Leece youngster Patrick Dorgu.
The 18-year-old featured heavily for their U19s last season after making the move from FC Nordsjaelland last summer. In 33 appearances, he managed four goals from left-back.
Calciomercato says that Liverpool are ready to 'attack' for the Danish youngster after his showing for the Primavera champions.
They add that the Reds have scouted the full-back on a several occasions and have seemingly seen enough of what they wanted to make the move.
Xabi Alonso
Bayer Leverkusen managing director Simon Rolfles has ruled out that Xabi Alonso will take charge of the vacant Paris Saint-Germain role.
The former Liverpool midfielder has impressed in his first senior coaching role with Die Werkself and has already faced speculation over his future at the club amid links to Tottenham Hotspur and now the Parisiens.
Further question marks were raised with Alonso out of contract at the BayArena in 2024. However, Rolfles has rebuffed claims, speaking via Kicker he said: "That's not an issue. Xabi stays.
"I also spoke to Xabi internally and he positioned himself clearly."
