Liverpool are positioning themselves perfectly for the second half of the campaign.
The win over Leicester City on Thursday evening ensured they remain on the tails of Manchester City in the Premier League title race - they are nine points behind with a game in hand - while the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup are all still up for grabs.
In addition, Luis Diaz has settled quickly following his big-money move from Porto, while Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita have all returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty.
