Liverpool took another step closer to Manchester City in the Premier League title race on Wednesday, as they hammered a hapless Leeds United 6-0 at Anfield.
Braces from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, as well as a strike each from Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip, saw the Reds ease to within three points of the leaders, with both sides now having played the same amount of games.
With a League Cup final to come against Chelsea on Sunday, the excitement levels at Anfield appear poised to go into overdrive. The Reds have four trophies within their reach.
Will Liverpool carry this momentum forward and win the Premier League? Let us know in the comments section below!
Liverpool set up "greatest title battle"
After slips by Manchester City in recent weeks, the fight for the Premier League crown is very much on again.
Liverpool have put together a winning run at the perfect time and appear ready to go toe-to-toe with City in the battle for the domestic crown for a third time.
"Perhaps it most resembles the first three Rocky films if you’re that way inclined, and take the third fight with Apollo Creed to be the best of all," said David Maddock in his match report from Anfield.
"Liverpool certainly have a touch of the Balboa about them, because they never know when to quit.
"Who could possibly have predicted when the gap was 12 points at the end of December, they would be in touching distance before the end of February, even after a month without Mo Salah and Sadio Mane?"

Wijnaldum compares PSG with Liverpool
Former Reds midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has compared his current Paris Saint-Germain side to the Liverpool team he signed for in 2016.
The Dutchman was a key part of that team developing into Champions League and Premier League winners, as the Reds were able to make incredible strides under Jurgen Klopp.
While the current PSG team has taken a lot more money to assemble, Wijnaldum thinks there are stylistic similarities between the respective squads.
"It takes time to form a good team, you have to get to know each other," he said. "Given the resources at the club, everyone expects us to win everything but that’s not how it works.
"I can speak from experience because I joined a team under construction when I signed for Liverpool."

Klopp clarifies Milner comments
Klopp confirmed ahead of the game against Leeds that the club have offered a new deal to James Milner despite reports to the contrary.
The 36-year-old may no longer be a regular starter for the Reds, but he remains an important member of the Liverpool squad.
Klopp clearly values his influence too and used his press conference as a chance to make as much obvious.
"I spoke recently about ‘talks’ taking place to extend his stay with us and I thought it might make sense to use this platform to clarify that as I’ve seen some misleading reporting around it," he said.
"By talks I mean I indicated my wish that James stays with us beyond this season, in a playing capacity. James will keep playing, he has told me this. So he should, by the way."
