Liverpool have been sent a 'squeaky bum' message by Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker following Manchester City's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
City drew a blank at Crystal Palace in a goalless draw which blew the Premier League title race wide open, leaving the Reds just four points behind Pep Guardiola's side but with a game in hand on their rivals. And Lineker has now summed up the rest of the season perfectly as he made reference to Sir Alex Ferguson's famous saying.
It comes as Jurgen Klopp gave an encouraging update on Mohamed Salah's race to be fit for the match against Arsenal on Wednesday night. And Carlo Ancelotti has hinted the 2005 Champions League final loss he suffered as manager of AC Milan still hurts as he made a joke about the LaLiga title race.

Ancelotti's Istanbul joke
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that AC Milan's infamous collapse in the 2005 Champions League final still hurts as he made a joke about the LaLiga title race. Ancelotti's Milan raced into a 3-0 half-time lead in the 2005 tie in Istanbul thanks to two goals from Hernan Crespo and one from Paolo Maldini.
But Liverpool launched one of the most astonishing comebacks in football history in the second half, scoring three times in five minutes to draw level before winning the match 3-2 on penalties. And with his Real Madrid side now 10 points clear at the top of LaLiga, Ancelotti has joked that comeback is still on his mind heading into the business end of the season.
Salah update given
Jurgen Klopp has offered some encouraging news about star man Mohamed Salah as the forward races to be fit for his side's crunch encounter with Arsenal on Wednesday night. Salah was on the scoresheet during Saturday's 2-0 win over Brighton as he netted from the penalty spot, but was withdrawn just minutes later through injury.
That incident raised question marks over whether the Egyptian would be involved in the match against Arsenal, but Klopp has now offered some encouraging news.
Reds sent 'squeaky bum' message
Match of the Day present Gary Lineker has said "bums will be squeaking" after Manchester City's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday night. The result gives Liverpool a huge boost in their attempt to chase down their title rivals, who they will face at the Etihad Stadium on April 10.
If the Reds can somehow win that tie and their match in hand, they could overtake Pep Guardiola's side in the table and secure a huge advantage in the race to win the Premier League title. And Lineker has summed up the title race perfectly following the latest result.
