Liverpool could be face Premier League leaders Man City next month without key defender Trent Alexander-Arnold after the injury sustained against Arsenal could leave him on the sideline for weeks.
When the two sides meet next month on April 10, the pair won't have to worry about a UEFA Champions League fixture 48 hours later. Should that have been the case, the Premier League would have moved the league fixture back to a Saturday midday kick-off in order to allow both teams time to rest.
City manager Pep Guardiola has already started the mind games, telling Liverpool that his side hold their own destiny in their hands.

Alexander-Arnold injury timeframe
Liverpool will be without defender Trent Alexander-Arnold when they face Nottingham Forest this weekend in the FA Cup.
Though there was no guarantee he would be selected against Championship opposition, the bigger fear is that the England international will miss the key Premier League fixture against Man City next month. The Reds are currently a point behind City and the match at the Etihad Stadium could determine the winner of the league.

Trent Alexander-Arnold must be fit by April 10 to stand any chance of playing against Man City after the Premier League scheduled the Liverpool vs City game for Sunday afternoon.
The race for the Premier League has hotted up over recent weeks as the Reds took advantage of recent City slip-ups to move within a point of the reigning title holders. The two meet next month in what could be the title decider, meaning all is to play for in Manchester.
The reason for the delay in fixture confirmation was the UEFA Champions League draw, which was made on Friday afternoon.
Guardiola's Liverpool reminder
Baring a slip by Man City, Pep Guardiola's side will host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium next month with at least a one-point lead at the top of the table.
The two sides meet in what many are calling a Premier League cup final and it's likely that the winner goes on to lift the trophy in May. With the Manchester club in the drivers seat, Guardiola sent a friendly reminder to his counterpart at Liverpool that his side are in control heading into the seismic clash.
"I don't know if we will win but the destiny is in our hands," said Klopp on Friday.
