Liverpool may have had a wretched season but there are some reasons to smile as the season draws to a close.
Wednesday's tense 2-1 win away to West Ham means that the Reds have now won their last three Premier League games and are unbeaten in five. Jurgen Klopp knows that a top-four finish and subsequent return to the Champions League will be difficult, but there's no reason to rule it out with six games of the season remaining, starting with Sunday's match at home to Tottenham.
There's also plenty of talk about the future at Anfield, with the summer transfer window right around the corner. Liverpool have been tipped to orchestrate a rebuild, with emphasis on their midfield department, having already admitted defeat on signing Jude Bellingham.
Here's a round-up of the latest news from Anfield.
Klopp reminds Ten Hag of 7-0
Jurgen Klopp gave Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag another reminder of Liverpool's 7-0 victory at Anfield back in March. With the Reds' campaign off the rails, Klopp made it clear that he'll at least have something special to remember thanks to the record-breaking rout.
"I always thought I would have time for these things after my career," Klopp told a press conference on Friday. "So this season, if we don't do something really special, will be remembered for the 7-0 against United. I hope when people speak about it in a few years they will look back on it and [say], 'that is the year we beat United 7-0' and that they could say something nice on top of that. And after that we qualified still for whatever. That will be nice, but if not then we have to take that as well."

Wright approves midfield plan
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has given his seal of approval for Curtis Jones becoming a bigger part of Liverpool's midfield next season. The 22-year-old has struggled for game-time this term but appears to have Jurgen Klopp's backing.
After Jones impressed against West Ham, Wright told the Ringer Podcast Network: "Curtis Jones, he's coming ladies and gents! Like he said when the Hulk got shot down, Thanos is coming. Curtis Jones is coming."

Klopp's thoughts on European qualification
Jurgen Klopp says that Liverpool will 'take what they get' when it comes to qualifying for Europe this season. The Reds are currently on course to end up in the Europa Conference League for the first time in the club's history, as they're currently seventh.
"We didn't start the season saying it will be fantastic but the season taught us a few things," Klopp added ahead of Sunday's game against Tottenham. "We want to create a basis to qualify for the best possible scenario, squeeze everything out."
