Inter tie stopped for emergency
Liverpool's Champions League tie with Inter Milan was halted midway through the first half on Tuesday night following a medical emergency in the crowd at Anfield.
Play was promptly halted by referee Antonio Mateu after Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, as well as several fans and players raised attention to the incident in the stands.
The players from both side also quickly congregated on the sidelines as play was halted and medics sprinted to help the supporter.
Reds go marching on
Liverpool's quadruple hopes live on despite their 1-0 Champions League defeat to Inter Milan on Tuesday night.
The Reds had entered the tie with a 2-0 lead from the first-leg at the San Siro, and it proved vital as Jurgen Klopp's side sneaked through to the next round.
Lautaro Martinez’s 61st-minute goal had given the visitors a chance of overturning the deficit but Alexis Sanchez’s red card for a second bookable offence less than two minutes later significantly dented their hopes.
And the Reds ultimately managed to hold on to book their place in the quarter-finals.
It was a match full of talking points and Mirror Football has them all covered.
Jordan Henderson's tears
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has recalled the moment former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers told him the club were ready to sell him to Fulham.
The incident happened in 2012 shortly after Rodgers' arrival at Anfield as the Reds tried to bring in Cottagers forward Clint Dempsey.
Fulham were keen for Henderson to move in the opposite direction, and so Rodgers spoke to the player ahead of a Europa League game against Hearts, the Reds skipper has recalled.
But the former Liverpool manager gave Henderson a choice over the move, and after admitting he "cried a little bit" in his room, the midfielder had the perfect reaction to the conversation.
