The summer transfer window is now officially open, with Liverpool looking to be one of the Premier League's busiest clubs.
After failing to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 2016, Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the Reds need a rebuild in order to return to their former glories. A major shift has already occurred, with long-serving stars such as James Milner and Roberto Firmino departing, paving the way for a new era.
Liverpool moved quickly to sign Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister in a shrewd £45million deal, getting supporters excited for the months ahead. That's because the Reds are only just getting started, with Fenway Sports Group facing pressure to keep backing Klopp in the market.
Here's a round-up of the latest news from Anfield.
Konate sends FSG bold message
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has criticised the club's transfer strategy, urging FSG to make a number of new signings who can instantly improve the side. In an interview with RMC Sport on international duty with France, the 24-year-old centre-back explained how the Reds must deal with waving goodbye to a number of first-team players this summer.
"We have to replace them," Konate firmly declared. "If not, what do we do? Do we play with an understaffed squad lacking in quality? You can't rely on youth at this level. I'm sure the boss and the recruitment team know we need new players."

The Spanish midfielder, who's set to represent his nation at the under-21 European Championships,s, enjoyed a breakout 2022-23 season and has a release clause of €40million (£34.4m).
"I'm not here to talk about my future, only my present. I want to be in the final [squad] of the Europeans," Veiga told a press conference. "It's been a bit of a mess. I left my [agent] and then I took some time off. I went with the one that I think is the best and I think I've matured a lot."
