Liverpool will be desperate to get back to winning ways on Sunday afternoon, when they take on Mikel Arteta's Arsenal at Anfield.
That is a daunting task, as the Gunners are eight points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table having played a game more, but not impossible. Liverpool have lost just one home Premier League game this season, hammering Manchester United 7-0 last time out.
It's their away form which has been the problem, as Jurgen Klopp's side have won just one of their last eight league trips to leave them eighth in the table - 10 points behind Man Utd in fourth. With all that in mind, here are the latest headlines from Merseyside.
Arsenal legend snubs Liverpool
Ray Parlour has included just TWO Liverpool players in his combined XI ahead of Sunday afternoon's Premier League clash. The Gunners legend told NetBet, "Looking at current form, it has to be all Arsenal, except for Virgil van Dijk.
"I know he isn’t playing great, but you would get him in alongside Gabriel, no disrespect to Rob Holding, and with William Saliba currently out injured.
"You would also still have to find a spot for Mohamed Salah, but you can’t leave Bukayo Saka out and Gabriel Martinelli is playing well so it is an awkward one. But with Gabriel Jesus having recently come back from injury, I would put Salah up front over the Brazilian.
Do you think Liverpool can beat Arsenal? Let us know in the comments below!
"You’ve got to get Salah in there somehow - he could play as a false number nine up front with Saka and Martinelli on the wing - as Jesus has only just come back."

Liverpool backed to lose again
Paul Merson has tipped his ex-club Arsenal to beat Liverpool 2-1. He told Sportskeeda, "If Arsenal win this game, I think they win the Premier League.
"They still have a game against an excellent Newcastle side, but Arsenal won’t have to beat them if they can get the better of Liverpool. If they win this game, they would have to have a major meltdown to lose the title race.
"Jurgen Klopp wants his Liverpool side to play a certain way, and his team doesn’t have the legs to pull it off at the moment."

Diaz out of Liverpool game
Klopp has confirmed Luis Diaz is not expected to make his comeback from injury until Liverpool's game against Leeds on April 17. The Colombia international has not played in the Premier League since Liverpool's last clash against Arsenal six months ago.
Despite Diaz's absence, Thiago Alcantara could return after a two-month lay-off with a hip injury. Van Dijk is also fit after illness.
"Virgil is back in training, Luis and Thiago training completely normal," Klopp told reporters on Friday. "The plan for Luis is that he will be 100 per cent available for Leeds. We will probably not involve him for Sunday. Thiago is slightly different and might be available."
