Ben Doak continued an impressive start to his Liverpool career but couldn't prevent the under-18s falling to defeat at Leeds United.
Doak, a £600,000 summer arrival from Celtic, scored a third goal in his first two competitive games as the young Reds were beaten 2-1 in their U18 Premier League North clash at Thorp Arch training ground on Saturday afternoon.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's side leaked twice early in the second half before 16-year-old winger Doak pulled a goal back shortly after the hour, but were unable to back up last week's 6-2 triumph over Middlesbrough with victory.
