Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton has been rewarded for his continued progress with a new contract.
The 20-year-old, who is spending the season on loan at Championship side Blackburn Rovers, has put pen to paper on a long-term deal.
Wallasey-born Morton has been at the Reds’ Academy since the age of seven and worked his way through the ranks, making his under-18s debut in September 2019.

The midfielder made his first-team breakthrough when appearing in the second half of the League Cup third round win at Norwich City in September 2021 and went on to make debuts in the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League last season.
Morton has made 28 appearances for Blackburn this campaign and has been a regular in the team challenging for promotion to the Premier League.
A former England U20 international, his form also earned a first call-up to the national team’s U21 set-up.
