Liverpool under-18s exited the Premier League Cup at the group stages after a 4-3 defeat by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's side had lost 8-1 to Charlton Athletic and 3-1 at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur in their other two group games, with today's showing rounding off a miserable cup campaign.
The Reds, who were only beaten by Wolves last weekend, were behind again against the West Midlands side after ten minutes courtesy of Owen Farmer's effort.
