Liverpool have reportedly made an approach to sign Napoli central defender Kim Min-jae ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Napoli defender has been one of the stand-out stars for the Serie A leaders and would reportedly be interested in a move Anfield.
Napoli paid just over £15million for the South Korea international from Fenerbahce in July 2022 and there is believed to be a release clause worth £40m that is valid only for foreign clubs from the summer of 2024.

Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna has linked the Reds with a move for the Napoli star ahead of the summer window.
He reported: "In Napoli, we are aware of Liverpool's interest in Kim Min-jae. Napoli would like to extend it and if possible remove its release clause. His entourage would welcome a departure for the Reds."
Liverpool are believed to be in the market for a new centre-half in the summer with their defence struggling on numerous occasions this season.
