Jurgen Klopp could recreate bold Liverpool gamble vs Man United
After making six changes to the Liverpool side that fought out an uninspiring 0-0 draw away at Crystal Palace last weekend, Jurgen Klopp was rewarded with a 2-0 victory over Wolves on Wednesday night as the Reds closed the gap on the Premier League top four.
Now unbeaten in their last four league games, keeping a clean sheet in all four, Liverpool have moved up to sixth in the table and sit just six points off the Champions League places with a game in hand.
With fifth-placed Newcastle United in action away at reigning champions Man City on Saturday lunchtime, the Reds could climb even higher come the end of the weekend. However, they would have to overcome bitter rivals Manchester United on Sunday.

Liverpool 'consider' £31m midfielder
Liverpool are being linked with a move to sign Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
The Reds continue to be credited with an interest in signing potential new midfielders ahead of the summer transfer window. The likes of Jude Bellingham, Mason Mount, Matheus Nunes and a host of others have been rumoured to be targets for Liverpool.
Now, according to reports from Italy, Liverpool are looking to sign Locatelli from Juventus. It has been claimed by Calcio Mercato that the Reds are showing an interest in signing the Italy international when the transfer window opens in the summer.
The report states that Locatelli has become a “pillar” of Juventus’ midfield this season, and as a result is one of their most important players. However, this is not stopping suggestions that Liverpool could make a move for the player.
It has been claimed that Locatelli is valued at around €35 million (£31m) this summer. The article goes on to say that departures of current midfielders within the Liverpool squad, including Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner, could be a factor in the Reds’ decision making.
