Konate gets the nod in defence with Diaz in attack
Ian Doyle: Finally, we reach the 63rd and final match of Liverpool's season.
And what a match, the Champions League final against Real Madrid, a chance to secure the third trophy of the campaign and avenge Kyiv of four years ago.
There are a couple of big calls for Jurgen Klopp to make, not least over who partners Virgil van Dijk at centre-back. Ibrahima Konate looked a little shaky against Wolves last weekend, but I'd stick with him ahead of Joel Matip due to his better pace.
The rest of the defence picks itself, with Alisson Becker in goal, Andy Robertson at left-back and Trent Alexander-Arnold on the other side.

In midfield, the debate is over the fitness of Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara. With five substitutions allowed, I'd go with both of them along with Jordan Henderson. Naby Keita and James Milner seem likely replacements at some point.
Up top, though, there is little debate. Mohamed Salah on the right, Sadio Mane down the middle and Luis Diaz on the left, with Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino in reserve.
Now just get the job done, lads.
My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Thiago, Henderson; Salah, Mane, Diaz.
Matip can be the man at the back
Theo Squires: The day is finally here. Liverpool are involved in the biggest club match in the world, once again, as they take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Paris. It’s the glamour tie in the glamour city and Jurgen Klopp has to name his strongest XI.
That means, despite their injury scares in the build-up, Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara both start. They will be crucial to the Reds’ hopes of victory and if they’re fit enough to be involved, they’re fit enough to start. Able to make five substitutions, Liverpool can take the maximum possible from the duo before calling upon the likes of James Milner from reserve.
Captain Jordan Henderson completes the midfield with his experience and leadership just edging out Naby Keita, though the Guinean is sure to make an appearance from the bench. Meanwhile, it’s the expected Mohamed Salah-Sadio Mane-Luis Diaz triumvirate in attack. If it is to be the Senegalese’s last game for the club, let him go out in style.
And in the defence, four of the back five pick themselves with Joel Matip completing the quintet. He’s played in a Champions League final before with his experience in these occasions seeing him given the nod ahead of Ibrahima Konate.
My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Mane, Diaz.
Midfield that blew City away starts
Sean Bradbury: So here we are. The final game of an incredible Liverpool season and it's the biggest one in club football.
In defence, Joel Matip just gets the nod for me. There's a strong argument for Ibrahima Konate to help deal with the pace of Vinicius Jr, but I'm opting for experience.
With five subs and the prospect of extra time, I would start the midfield that blew away Manchester City at Wembley. If things go awry, Jordan Henderson and James Milner are available from the bench.
And up front, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz can put the heat on Madrid from the off.
My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Thiago, Keita; Salah, Mane, Diaz.
