A Liverpool legend believes that Manchester City are 'favourites' for the Premier League title.
Last week, the Reds closed the gap on City to just one point after the Blues dropped points at Crystal Palace while Liverpool beat Arsenal. The top two teams in England will meet on Sunday, April 10 at the Etihad Stadium for what will likely be the title decider.
John Barnes spent ten years at Anfield but believes that Pep Guardiola's team are the ones most likely to be lifting the trophy come the end of the season. He explained to BonusCodeBets : " Manchester City are favourites for the Premier League title, but there are still other games left to play this season.

"Liverpool and Manchester City are playing well, but I’d make City the slight favourites. It's much tighter than it would have been if City beat Crystal Palace.
"The Premier League is difficult, anyone can drop points. Liverpool didn’t play well against Brighton, but they won that game which is always a good sign when you win without having to play well.
"So, whilst I make City the slight favourites, I don’t think it matters too much."
Manchester City are out of action now for the rest of March due to the international break. Their next fixture is on Saturday, April 2 against Burnley at Turf Moor.
