After completing deals for three players, the remaining weeks of the transfer window could be centred around outgoings for Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp's side have recruited Calvin Ramsay, Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho in recent weeks, while bidding farewell to the likes of Divock Origi, Sadio Mane and Takumi Minamino. Neco Williams looks set to be the latest first-team star to depart as he closes in on a move to Nottingham Forest.
Whether or not Liverpool feel the need to add to their squad for a fourth time between now and September 1, the Reds continue to be linked with various individuals regardless. Below, we have rounded up the latest rumours relating to potential incomings at Anfield.

Who?
Matheus Nunes.
Where?
What?
Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matheus Nunes has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for the Reds. The Portuguese international has continued to be linked with a Premier League move within the last year, with Everton among the clubs mentioned as a potential destination for the 23-year-old.
But, while Nunes is said to have no interest in moving to Everton, Chelsea and Manchester City are also said to be now in the mix, although it is claimed that no official offer has been submitted by any side at this stage. A title winner with Sporting during the 2020/21 season, the former Estoril star has continued to grow in stature and was named in the 2021/22 Primeira Liga Team of the Season.
Who?
Diogo Jota.
Where?
What?
Liverpool attacker Diogo Jota is in line for a new contract, according to reports.
Signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers back in 2020, the versatile forward has come on leaps and bounds to establish himself as a key part to Jurgen Klopp's side. Last season saw him deputise for the injured Firmino and step in when Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were away at the Africa Cup of Nations, scoring 21 goals and contributing eight assists over the season.
This has led to the Reds wanting to reward him with a fresh deal and bump his pay up from the £90k a week he is reportedly earning. His current contract expires in 2025.
Who?
Neco Williams.
Where?
What?
Neco Williams is set to undergo his Nottingham Forest medical. As the ECHO has reported, Liverpool and the newly promoted Premier League side have agreed a fee of around £17million to see the defender leave Anfield.
Fresh reports now suggest that a medical is planned for Sunday before the move is officially completed. Williams spent the second-half of last season on loan at Fulham.
