Former France national team boss Raymond Domenech admits would he love to see Mohamed Salah play for Paris Saint-Germain after comparing the Liverpool star to Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
Domenech, who coached France between 2004 and 2010, said it was unfortunate that the Liverpool winger would not be at the World Cup after his Egypt side lost their final qualifier against Senegal. Salah helped his country beat Belgium in a friendly on Friday but will instead join the rest of his Reds team-mates and Jurgen Klopp in Dubai, where they will face Lyon and AC Milan in the Dubai Super Cup.
Salah was in Dubai earlier this week as he was crowned Fans' Player of the Year at the Globe Soccer Awards, and Domenech believes the 30-year-old is at the 'world class' level of PSG pair Messi and Mbappe - also revealing his wish that the Egyptian would come to the French giants.

“If we talk about Mohamed Salah, I can only say he is world-class,” Domenech told MBC Masr. “All the awards that Salah won are fully deserved. It is unfortunate that he will not participate in the 2022 World Cup.
“I would certainly like to see him play for Paris Saint-Germain. A player with this mentality pushes the team forward and is a huge addition.
“He is on a level that only Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe reached and he embodies what every coach wishes for in a player and will add so much to French football."
