Liverpool are reportedly “following” Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma with a view to a possible move.
The Reds have been tentatively linked with the Netherlands international ever since last summer, with a host of other clubs supposedly in the race. Manchester United are one of the other sides credited with an interest in Danjuma.
Jurgen Klopp could be in the market for a forward this summer, with Sadio Mane’s future still up in the air. Liverpool have already rejected a £25million bid from Bayern Munich for the Senegalese international, who has 12 months left on his contract.

Liverpool have placed Benfica striker Darwin Nunez on their transfer shortlist for this summer, as they prepare for life without Mane. However, it remains to be seen if the Reds will make a move for the Uruguay international.
Danjuma is another player who has been linked with Liverpool, with various reports claiming that the player could be set to leave Villarreal this summer. Renowned transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano has claimed the 25-year-old could be an option for Liverpool this summer, as they search for a replacement for Mane.
“Danjuma, this boy from Villarreal, he played number nine this season,” said Romano, on the Here We Go podcast.
“He did really great with Villarreal, he has a release clause in his contract it's around €45m (£38m), maybe a bit more, and so could be an opportunity in the market.
“Liverpool have been following him since January, let's see if they will jump into it'
