Jurgen Klopp has rarely had the kind of strength in depth up front that he has now at Liverpool.
Despite the departures of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in the last 12 months, the arrivals of Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo in a similar timeframe have given Klopp a number of exciting ways to shuffle his attacking options.
A full and uninterrupted pre-season schedule for all five of Klopp's senior strikers should mean there is plenty of competition for the top spots going forward.
Here, the ECHO's Liverpool FC writers assess what constitutes Klopp's 'first choice' front three going forward...

Paul Gorst - Jota down the middle
There's no real obvious answer to this particular issue for Jurgen Klopp, which at least highlights how much room to manoeuvre the Reds boss has when it comes to his forward options next season.
For example, Cody Gakpo can operate as the most advanced central midfielder to give Klopp the option of going with a 4-2-3-1 formation, while both Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota are able to play off the left of that front three too as well as the Netherlands international, who made his name with PSV in that particular role.
A fully-fit Luis Diaz is a considerable piece of the puzzle for Klopp down the left, while Mohamed Salah is the undoubted first choice on the right.
Fifteen goals in his first season across all competitions more than hinted at what Nunez is able to achieve going forward. Further adaptation into Liverpool life - and a general improvement from the team as a whole - should help Nunez build on an encouraging first year, while the silky, versatile Gakpo steadily grew in influence following his mid-season move from PSV. It could be a big season for the Dutchman.
Despite Jota's ability to play a handful of roles, the former Wolves forward is at his best as a goal-poacher, through the middle and in the penalty area. And given there was an overreliance on Salah for goals last season, the Portugal international can help alleviate that issue with a prolonged spell in the team free of injury.
Diaz takes up the spot on the left and if Liverpool can get him back to the sort of form he showed in the second half of the 2021/22 term following his arrival from Porto, he will add another dimension to the attack that was just not there last season.
Nunez and Gakpo are serious options to have waiting in the wings and the ability of a forward line jam-packed with quality means Klopp will have goal threats throughout next season, whoever he sides with as his first choice.
My front three (just): Salah, Jota, Diaz.
Theo Squires - Nunez keeps luring me back in
My initial answer when asked what I consider to be Liverpool's strongest front three isn't particularly ground-breaking. Mohamed Salah on the right, Cody Gakpo down the middle, and Luis Diaz on the left. The latter two are the direct replacements for Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, so that's the path we're going down. Next question, moving on.
But there remains a niggling thought in the back of my head. It's just not exciting enough. Where's the chaos and unpredictability? That's right, Darwin Nunez keeps luring me back in.
He's a mad b*****d, isn't he, but that's why Kopites love him. He makes things happen, and after a respectable 15 goals from his maiden season on Merseyside, the best is still to come.
The Uruguayan exploded into life in his second season with Benfica, scoring a whopping 34 goals to attract the interest of Liverpool in the first place. At his best, he's unplayable. If we are to see that version of the striker this season, boasting a stronger grasp of English and without the niggling injuries of last year, then you can't not select him.
Of course, that is all ifs and buts. For now, he remains Jurgen Klopp's wildcard. But he could become the German's MVP.
Salah obviously starts on the right after yet another 30-goal season, though we'll be 'treated' to another month without his services mid-season as he departs for Africa Cup of Nations duty. Good thing Liverpool boast enough depth for players to step up in his absence.
Meanwhile, now donning that famous number seven shirt, Diaz gets the nod on the left. He was the Reds' best player before that untimely knee injury last year. Hungry to make up for lost time, let's hope the Colombian can reach such electrifying levels again.
If not, at least there is Diogo Jota in reserve who you can always rely on for a goal. While in, Gakpo Liverpool have found the best Firmino replacement Kopites could have hoped for. He can get the nod down the middle, if the madness of Nunez isn't being unleashed to devastating effect against Premier League defences up and down the country.
My front three: Salah, Nunez/Gakpo, Diaz.
Tom Cavilla - Salah the only certainty
Liverpool are certainly not short of quality attacking options, leaving Jurgen Klopp with plenty to consider for next season.
The departure of Roberto Firmino has freed up one space in this department, though the front three spots in the side remain incredibly in-demand.
We saw Darwin Nunez utilised on the left and down the middle during his debut campaign on Merseyside, though the jury is still out on the Uruguayan. Cody Gakpo, who arrived during the midway stage of last season was able to deliver a greater impact in the same two positions and is therefore hard to overlook.
Luis Diaz, meanwhile, became a player many fans had forgotten during his long-term lay-off last term, though the Colombian should be slotting straight back into his left wing role having fully recovered from his knee injury.
Diogo Jota, too, faced a battle to fight his way back into the starting-eleven in 2022/23 after his four-month absence, though issued a timely reminder of his quality with seven goals in the final games of the season. Despite this brilliant run of form, the Portugal international could best be utilised as a game-changer in matches coming on from off the bench - something title-winning teams always seem to possess.
Mohamed Salah is the only certainty of the Liverpool front three, the Egyptian again coming to the team's rescue in moments of need for a staggering sixth season in succession. You wouldn't doubt for one second he will be eyeing another astonishing goal return.
Nunez has the ability to deliver on a regular basis, but it is down for Klopp to decide when and how best to bring the best out of the former Benfica striker. Should Gakpo falter, both the 24-year-old and Jota will be ready to step up.
My front three: Salah, Gakpo, Diaz.
