LFC is selling a new pair of trainers but some customers are shocked at how much they will set you back.
The new shoes, a collaboration with LeBron James, are priced at £164.95. The trainers are a “unique twist” on Nike’s classic Air Max 1.
Sharing the news online, LFC Retail said: “Reds, shop the NEW LeBron x Liverpool FC Air Max 1”. The post featured a reel with LeBron James showing off the trainers.

The post racked up more than 150 likes and a number of retweets, but many fans were left unimpressed with the price of the trainers. Replying to the tweet, one person said: “165 quid?? Ooft no ta.”
A second shopper wrote: “Lovely but not affordable at all” and a third added: “An absolute no.” Another said: “Stop trying to flog tarted up Nike Airs and concentrate on the squad.”
The trainers feature Liverpool FC colours, a nod to the Reds’ 22-23 Third Kit, and visuals like the club's crest on the insole honour the LeBron's favourite club. They also have YNWA and SFG branding on the heels.
