Steven Gerrard has sent a heartfelt message to his daughter, Lexie, as she celebrates her 17th birthday.
The Liverpool FC legend shares four children with his wife, Alex. They are also the proud parents of Lilly, Lourdes, and Lio.
The 42-year-old regularly posts updates from his happy family life with his 11.1m Instagram followers. He has taken to the social media platform in a celebratory mood today on his second eldest daughter's special day.

Gerrard shared a snap of Lexie alongside the caption: "Happy birthday Lexie. We love you. 17."
Gerrard's former teammates took to the comments to send messages to Lexie on her big day.. Jamie Carragher said: "HBD Lexie."
Luis Garcia added: "HB" It's been a big couple of weeks for the Gerrard family as he took to the social media platform last month in celebration of his youngest child's 6th birthday.
He shared a snap of Lio alongside the caption: "Happy 6th birthday mate I love you so much. Have a boss day."
Lio could be following in his dad's footsteps as he took to the pitch alongside Gerrard at Anfield last month. The youngster stepped up and scored a penalty in front on the Kop at half time of Liverpool's match with Nottingham Forest.
