Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp makes Manchester United top four admission

Jurgen Klopp Liverpool Manchester United UEFA Champions League Alisson Becker Erik ten Hag Leicester

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits that Manchester United deserve a place in the top four if they finish above his side.

The Merseyside club are making a late charge for a Champions League place amid a dismal season. They are a point behind United in fifth although have played a game more.

United go into Saturday’s match with Wolves after back-to-back defeats against Brighton and West Ham. If they fail to win again, it would open the door for Liverpool to leapfrog them for the time being should they beat strugglers Leicester on Monday.
