Liverpool fans were once again left impressed by Alexis Mac Allister after his performance in Brighton's comprehensive win over Arsenal this evening.
The Argentine midfielder is a player of interest to the Reds and would represent a positive addition to the midfield department should Jurgen Klopp's side find a way to strike a deal during the summer transfer window.
A key figure in the Seagulls' search for European football, Mac Allister has the caught the eye of a number of clubs after what has been an outstanding campaign from a personal perspective. A World Cup winner with his home country in December, the 24-year-old is expected to move from Brighton having significantly raised his reputation on a global stage.

Roberto De Zerbi will be reluctant to sanction the exit of Mac Allister in the coming weeks due to his high-level performances of this term, though the South Coast side may be tempted to cash in should a lucrative offer arrive for their star man. Asked to comment on the Reds' reported interest in a player during a press conference last week, Klopp refused to comment on such links.
Whether or not Liverpool win the race for Mac Allister remains to be seen, though supporters have been left in no doubt over the player's suitability after watching him star in the Seagulls' emphatic performance at the home of Arsenal.
