Liverpool fans were pleased to see Kaide Gordon start against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
The Reds head into the second leg at the Emirates Stadium knowing they spurned a good opportunity at Anfield with Arsenal reduced to 10 men.
The first fixture finished 0-0 meaning there's no room for mistakes for the travelling Liverpool team.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are still missing as they represent their national sides at the Africa Cup of Nations and in their place, Jurgen Klopp has opted to start Diogo Jota out wide of Roberto Firmino.
And it's the decision on the other side of attack that got supporters talking.

Gordon is an emerging talent and has been given a huge opportunity to show just why fans are excited about his future.
The 17-year-old started the third round fixture against Norwich City back in September as well as the FA Cup match against Shewsbury Town where he went on to score the equaliser.
Fans took to social media to say just how happy they are to see a player who came through the Academy start such a big match:
There were also a few who felt that Gordon's start ahead of Takumi Minamino was to allow for a strong option off the bench who could grab a goal if the Reds needed one.
@natefc wrote on Twitter: "Minamino can replace any of the three attacking spots as a sub (not vouching for quality in any but he gets too much grief regardless). Gordon can play one position. Maybe it's just keeping the more versatile player as option on the bench."
And other supporters had a similar theory on Klopp's reasoning:
Minamino missed a glorious chance in the first-leg against Arsenal - but grabbed a goal in the Premier League after coming off the bench against Brentford on Saturday.
Caoimhin Kelleher starts in goal this evening ahead of regular No. 1 Alisson.
Klopp has previously indicated this is 'Caoimhin's competition', and that the Brazilian only played against Arsenal in the first leg for rhythm reasons after being out with Covid.
The winner of tonight's clash will go on to meet Chelsea in the final at Wembley Stadium.
