Liverpool supporters have been left shocked after the xG for their Champions League defeat to Real Madrid was revealed.
Despite racing into a 2-0 lead inside the opening 15 minutes at Anfield, thanks to goals from Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah, the Reds would ultimately end up losing the game 5-2.
Braces from Vinicius Jnr and Karim Benzema, plus a Eder Militao header, turned the tie on its head. The result means Liverpool are going to need one of their famous European comebacks, maybe their greatest one ever, in 22 days at the Bernabeu.
