Liverpool are preparing to take on Manchester City at Wembley this afternoon as the pair vie for a place in the FA Cup Final.
The Reds have already picked up one domestic cup this season and are still in with a chance of completing an unprecedented quadruple. However, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will prove to be tough opposition , with the pair having played out a 2-2 draw last weekend.
While Jurgen Klopp ’s team are focussed on securing major honours though, the Reds continue to be the subject of transfer reports as the summer window is now just months away. Here’s a round-up of the latest transfer rumours surrounding the Reds.

Who?
Darwin Nunez.
Where?
What?
The 22-year-old proved to be a thorn in Liverpool ’s side when the Reds faced Benfica to book their place in the Champions League semi-finals. Nunez scored twice over the two legs and that has seemingly left a notable impression on teams across Europe.
Liverpool are reported to face a “massive fight” to sign the Uruguayan with several Premier League teams also interested in his signature. Benfica are claimed to value Nunez at £65m, with the striker wanted by “half of Europe”.
Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United are all touted as possible suitors, while West Ham had a bid rejected for the striker in January. And Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp can see why , having praised Nunez earlier this week.
Who?
Dani Ceballos.
Where?
What?
Liverpool are claimed to be “monitoring” Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos, ahead of a potential move this summer. The midfielder has previously spent time on loan at Arsenal but has remained with the Spanish side this season.
The 25-year-old is reported to be attracting “interest” from the Reds, but it is suggested that Inter Milan are favourites for Ceballos’ signature. Sevilla and Valencia are also mentioned as possible destinations for the Spain international.
With his contract due to expire in 2023, the report suggests that the upcoming transfer window is “pivotal” if Real Madrid hope to cash in on the midfielder. Having been injured for the first half of the season, Ceballos has made 11 appearances across all competitions but is yet to start for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
Who?
Karim Adeyemi.
Where?
What?
The Reds are reported to be “in talks” with Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi. The 20-year-old has been consistently linked with a move to Liverpool following his performances for the Austrian side, where has scored 20 in 38 appearances this term.
Adeyemi allegedly looked set to join Borussia Dortmund this summer, but the report suggests that Liverpool have now joined the “battle” for the Germany international. Coming via reports in Germany, it is believed that Salzburg value the young forward at £35m.
However, the Mirror claims that Adeyemi could be viewed as a “potential successor” to Mohamed Salah, as his talks over a new contract continue. The report also points to both Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino’s contracts expiring in 2023 as a possible reason as to why Liverpool would wish to open talks over a move for the Salzburg striker.
